Designing and building has traditionally provided many benefits to clients thanks to the simplified contract with one entity and being able to fast-track work due to the close relationship between the designer and builder. However, the problem with this approach is that many contractors either specialize as designers or builders and not both.

At J&J Construction, our years of experience as a construction manager allow us to provide design and build services that have a strong foundation. We use this same experience to collaborate with our design crew to help form an integrated design and build team that is customized to your needs.
RETAIL STORES
Retail stores are all about curb appeal and customer flow. J & J has experience working with our clients and architects to design a beautiful custom look while being budget conscious. Custom displays that give 360-degree access to customers can be designed and implemented throughout the store. Modern or classic storefront designs can be explored, and mockups can be created for clients. We can also utilize social media to reach out to local traffic with targeted ads to get input on what the actual customers prefers.
Simple modifications to material schedules can alter a project by tens of thousands of dollars. Simple items like light fixtures and floor tiles can be swapped for commonly stocked items that still look high end, but cost half as much.
NETWORK AND SECURITY
J & J has recently added a networking and security division for retail stores. We utilize UniFi's (Ubiquiti, Inc.) technology to provide a robust solution for networking and security. Our solutions can be completely monitored in house to create a space where owners can see not only what happens in their store, but what also happens on their network. Access control to stock rooms can be established utilizing UniFi's Access hub and Access Reader lite and Pro. We can take the guesswork out of what goes on when owners are not around.
BATHROOM REMODELING
Having clean, functioning restrooms is a must have for customers and staff. J & J can provide an upscale bathroom with showers, or a commercial style restroom like you would see for a warehouse or office setting. We can work with our industry partners to provide you with your ideal setting.
